Floor & Surface Care
Floors are the largest single surface in the building and the one most visibly damaged by cheap maintenance. They are also the most expensive thing to replace.
Scheduled into the calendar, not squeezed around it
Stripping and refinishing needs the building empty and needs time to cure. In a school that means breaks and summer, planned months ahead against your actual calendar rather than attempted over a long weekend.
Gym floors in particular are unforgiving: the wrong product or an insufficient cure ruins a surface that costs tens of thousands to replace.
Matched to the surface you actually have
Vinyl composition tile, sealed concrete, terrazzo, hardwood, marble, and carpet all want different treatment, and older buildings usually have four of them within thirty feet of each other.
We survey what is actually down before proposing a program, including whether a floor is worth maintaining at all or has reached the point where refinishing is money into a surface that needs replacing.
